Finally, the Creek

Today I introduced the kids to my long time friend and huge blessing, the Creek.    We discovered minnows, crayfish, dragonfly nymphs, fossils, catalpa tree blossoms, and lots of  paint.  A new discovery under every rock.

You know we have to look at every single catch and ooh and ahhh appropriately.
 On the search for fossils.

I am not quite sure what they were doing here, but they were working really hard on this.
Did you have any idea you could find so many colors of paint in creek.

Some of us were brave enough to go through the troll hole.
 Others went the regular route.
Before the creek we continued with our stories, reading and writing.   Please ask your kiddo about the story each day.  They  can certainly continue with the poem in their pocket.  They earn points for all their literacy work.  Ask what they bought with their points today. Be sure they share their letter with you as well.
These three days were so beautiful and filled with fun and so much laughter and smiles.
Thank the Lord for such amazingly gorgeous days.
I hope the road situation is done by Monday.  Have a great week.
