Woods Camp 2021

We've been up to a ton of good review, in an amazing space, with the gift of great weather, these past few weeks.  Thank you Lord and thanks to Mrs. Jansen for being able to use the perfect space.

Each day we've reviewed and practiced measurement, geometry, number lines, circles, time, math facts, and counting change.  In addition we've read great books, written hyperbole, similies, etc.  We've listened to a great chapter book, practiced homonyms, synonyms and antonyms, made up crazy stories and read poetry fluently.
We've spent time in the garden and the creek creating businesses and catching a bazillion critters (perhaps a little hyperbole there).  We've made new friends, enjoyed old ones and practiced cooperating.

All of this would not have been possible without the wonderful help of some fabulous ladies- Lilli Paris, Annabelle Real, Sammy Combs, Edie Skees, Sawyer Elias, Raechel Bailey and Elsie Paris and Emmeline Real.  I have so appreciated their great help!
One more day of regular camp, then Freaky Friday, where measurement will involve the GaGa pit and a Sundae Party will end our morning!

If  you click on the pictures you can see them bigger.

Today in measurement, we watered our garden flowers.
Each Friday, we've paired a little kid with a big kid and the big ones have been great leaders.
